TYPES OF FISHING TRIPS
OFFSHORE (GULFSTREAM) This is the ulitmate big game experience and the Outer Banks most popular fishing adventure. This is your opportunity to catch trophy fish. Spend the day trolling the Gulfstream for Tuna, Dolphin, Wahoo, Marlin and Sailfish.
BOTTOM & WRECK FISHING Our Specialty. This is strictly is strictly a Deepwater Bottom Fishing expedition. Target fish are Tilefish, Black Sea Bass, Trigger Fish, Snowy Grouper, Amberjack, Tautog (Tog) and Southern Hake. This trip is probably the most productive trip available on the Outer Banks. Some species are regulated by Federal Seasons and Bag Limits. We do this trip right, fish with a Pro.
INSHORE OCEAN FISHING (Nearshore Ocean) We offer 4, 6 and 8 Hour Inshore Ocean Trips. Our 6 Hour Trip is an Extended 4 Hour Inshore Trip which some other local boats may call a 3/4 Day Trip . Both the 4 and 6 Hour Trips can be either AM or PM. This trip will challenge the Anglers with fishing along the Ocean Beaches and Inlet Area for a variety of species in season. The target species include Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, False Albacore, King Mackerel, Cobia, Amberjack, Red Drum. Depending on the season the 8 Hour Full Day Trip allows fishing more distant locations and using different fishing methods. The Full Day is highly recommended for Cobia, Amberjack and King Mackerel.
SHARK FISHING Half Day (Inshore) and Full Day (Offshore). We are one of only a few Outer Banks Charter Boats who offer Shark Trips. Inshore Sark fishing generally will catch smaller species of Sharks such as Atlantic Sharpnose, Blacktip and Spinner. Inshore Sharks are not "Jaws". These species can be a lot of fun on light tackle. Offshore Shark fishing targets larger Sharks including Hammerhead, Mako, Sandbar, Dusky and Sand Tiger. Shark fishing can be very exciting, but also may not be "fast and furious". Shark fishing is seasonal and keeping Sharks is very restricted by Federal Regulations. Most of our Shark fishing is "Catch and Release", although some species are edible. Please check with us on the best Season and Regulations.
